YOUR TEMPORARY
MAILBOX
Stealth Inboxes provides disposable email addresses. No registration is required, simply visit the site and a random address will be generated. You can also choose your own address.
See the FAQ below for more details about how it works.
What are Inbox Address and Scrambled Address?
Inbox Address is the real email address that receives email. The part before the @ sign is the mailbox ID. Stealth Inboxes does not require account registration, so anyone knowing the maildox ID can view received emails.
Scrambled Address is an alias for the Inbox Address. Email sent to the Scrambled Address end up in the same inbox as emails sent to the Inbox Address. There is no way to guess Inbox Address from Scrambled Address, and vice versa. Normally you want to give out the Scrambled Address and keep Inbox Address secret. This ensures that only you can see incoming emails.
How do I create my own mailbox ID?
Click the pencil icon in the Inbox Address section. A dialog will be displayed where you can enter your own mailbox ID. Remember that anyone who knows the mailbox ID can read your mail. Choose hard to guess ID, or even better use the Generate random button to create a random mailbox ID. Remember that all you need to know to read email is the mailbox ID. Random ID provides best protection.
Do email addresses expire?
Email addresses never expire. Any email sent to a valid email address will end up in corresponding inbox. But emails have a lifetime of 2 hours. In 2 hours after receipt emails are permanently deleted.
